Damage & Liability Policy

Last Updated: September 7, 2026

At LuxeDrive, we take great care when providing car wash, vehicle cleaning, and detailing services. This Damage & Liability Policy explains how pre-existing damage, personal belongings, vehicle condition, and service-related concerns are handled.

1. Pre-Existing Vehicle Damage

Before starting any service, customers are responsible for informing LuxeDrive about any known damage or sensitive areas of the vehicle.

This may include:

  • Scratches, dents, or paint damage
  • Cracked or chipped glass
  • Loose mirrors, trims, badges, or accessories
  • Damaged wheels or wheel covers
  • Peeling or weak paint
  • Rust or corrosion
  • Damaged interior materials
  • Loose or damaged electrical components
  • Aftermarket modifications or accessories

LuxeDrive is not responsible for pre-existing damage that becomes more noticeable during or after cleaning.

2. Vehicle Inspection

Where appropriate, we may visually inspect the vehicle before beginning the service.

We may also take photographs or videos of the vehicle condition before and/or after service for quality control and documentation purposes.

Customers should notify our team of any existing damage before work begins.

3. Loose, Damaged, or Fragile Parts

Customers must inform us if the vehicle contains any loose, damaged, fragile, aftermarket, repaired, or modified components.

LuxeDrive will not be responsible for damage caused by components that were already loose, weakened, improperly installed, deteriorated, or defective before the service.

This may include:

  • Antennas
  • Spoilers
  • Mirrors
  • Badges and emblems
  • Trim pieces
  • Window tint
  • Decals or wraps
  • Roof accessories
  • Aftermarket electronics
  • Custom interior components

4. Paint, Clear Coat, and Exterior Surfaces

Some vehicles may have aged, damaged, repainted, poorly repaired, or deteriorated paintwork.

Standard washing, pressure washing, polishing, or detailing may expose existing weaknesses in paint, clear coat, wraps, coatings, or decals.

LuxeDrive is not responsible for peeling, lifting, fading, cracking, or other deterioration caused by pre-existing surface conditions.

5. Interior Materials

Interior cleaning products and methods are selected based on the visible condition of the vehicle.

Some stains, discoloration, fading, cracking, wear, or material damage may already exist and may not be fully removable.

LuxeDrive cannot guarantee complete removal of every stain, odor, mark, or contamination.

We are not responsible for damage caused by previously weakened, defective, or deteriorated interior materials.

6. Personal Belongings and Valuables

Customers should remove all valuables and important personal belongings before the service begins.

This includes:

  • Cash
  • Jewelry
  • Phones
  • Electronics
  • Documents
  • Keys
  • Cards
  • Personal accessories
  • Fragile items

LuxeDrive is not responsible for lost, misplaced, damaged, or missing personal belongings left inside the vehicle unless liability is required under applicable law.

7. Child Seats and Personal Accessories

Customers should remove or secure child seats, removable accessories, electronic devices, and other personal equipment before the service.

Unless specifically agreed, LuxeDrive may avoid removing or reinstalling these items.

We are not responsible for improper installation of customer-owned accessories after cleaning.

8. Mechanical or Electrical Problems

LuxeDrive provides cleaning and detailing services and does not perform mechanical inspections unless specifically stated.

We are not responsible for mechanical, electrical, battery, sensor, warning-light, locking, or electronic issues that existed before the service or are unrelated to our work.

Customers should inform us about known electrical or mechanical faults before service begins.

9. Water-Sensitive Components

Customers must inform LuxeDrive of any known leaks, faulty seals, damaged windows, roof leaks, electrical issues, or other water-sensitive areas.

We are not responsible for water entering a vehicle where seals, windows, roofs, doors, or components were already damaged or defective.

10. Stain and Odor Removal

Although we make reasonable efforts to clean stains and odors, complete removal cannot always be guaranteed.

Certain stains or odors may have permanently affected the material or may return after cleaning.

Additional treatments may be recommended and may involve additional charges.

11. Customer Inspection After Service

Customers are encouraged to inspect the vehicle when the service is completed.

Any concern relating to the quality of the service or possible damage should be reported as soon as reasonably possible.

Claims reported significantly later may be difficult to verify.

12. Reporting Damage

If you believe damage occurred directly as a result of our service, please contact LuxeDrive promptly and provide:

  • Your name
  • Booking or service details
  • Vehicle information
  • Description of the issue
  • Photographs or videos where available

We may inspect the vehicle and review any available before-and-after documentation before determining responsibility.

13. Limitation of Liability

Where LuxeDrive is found to be directly responsible for damage caused through our negligence, any remedy will be subject to applicable law and the specific circumstances of the incident.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LuxeDrive will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from vehicle cleaning or detailing services.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

14. Customer Responsibility

By booking or accepting a LuxeDrive service, the customer confirms that:

  • Relevant pre-existing damage has been disclosed
  • Valuable personal belongings have been removed
  • Known fragile or sensitive vehicle components have been identified
  • The vehicle is suitable for the requested cleaning service
